Shaan Sangha

Shaan works with organisations to develop a culture of learning that supports systemic change. She combines participatory evaluation and power-aware frameworks to help clients understand the impact of their work and embed approaches that are both practical and values-driven.

Her career spans more than a decade in civil society, including roles in evaluation, digital communications, and organisational development. She has designed and led impact frameworks for grassroots organisations, supported national learning programmes, and built capacity across the charity sector in monitoring and evaluation. Shaan has also written on structural injustice in the sector, contributing articles to Uncharitable on issues of race, power, and culture.

She holds an MA in Power, Participation, and Social Change from the Institute of Development Studies, where she focused on participatory and equity-based methodologies. Outside of consultancy, she is interested in how storytelling and reflective practice can shift narratives and open up new possibilities for change.
