Marion Brossard, TSIP
Marion is TSIP Associate Director of Innovation and Co-Design, specialising in service design and co-production. She has over 10 years’ experience facilitating inclusive workshops involving multiple stakeholder groups within complex systems. Her prior experience ranges from: designing theories of change focussed on effecting systems innovation within the engineering industry with the Royal Academy of Engineering, co-producing strategic plans with independent foundations such as Esmee Fairbairn, training young facilitators to co-design new mental health services with their peers with Shoreditch Trust and Hackney Council; re-imagining the public’s role in shaping, informing and driving research alongside the British Science Association, Wellcome Trust and UKRI; and co-creating new funding models with communities of interest inc. with Impact on Urban Health and Culham St. Gabriels.
Marion has also worked with clients such as Esmee Fairbairn, City of London Corporation and CBF’s Anchor Programme to co-produce systems maps which enable them to identify the gaps and opportunities to effect wider systems change (see her blog here for more information). Her approach focuses on building spaces that drive imagination in a safe way conscious of power dynamics and differing expectations.
Building on her background in international development and start-ups, Marion has worked for a social consultancy focusing on systemic, place-based change; an education charity engaging UK students to raise child literacy in rural India through the ROAR Challenge – a social entrepreneurship programme; and an impact investment organisation developing and managing micro-franchises and enterprise incubators across three South African townships.
Marion has a BS in Business, Entrepreneurship and New Venture Management, and a BA in International Affairs from Northeastern University, and is fluent in English and French and proficient in Spanish.
