Renaisi is delighted to be working with National Lottery Heritage Fund to evaluate the Heritage Emergency Fund.

The Heritage Emergency Fund (HEF) is a £50million fund put together by National Lottery Heritage Fund (The Fund) to support the heritage sector as an immediate response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Renaisi will work with The Fund to understand whether the approach taken through the HEF met the needs of the heritage sector and what contribution it made to The Fund’s economy, inclusion and wellbeing outcomes. The evaluation includes The Fund’s general response as well as funding provided.

“We are looking forward to working with Renaisi to undertake the Heritage Emergency Fund evaluation. The work will be important in helping us assess our response and understand the impact we’ve had on supporting the UK-wide heritage community through the immediate challenges of the COVID-19 crisis. It will also inform how we support the sector’s longer term resilience and recovery.”
