I am an employment adviser for the Inspiring Families project. I support people with various barriers to secure employment or move closer to the job market.
My experience and skills
I have a BA in Business Management and have worked in the Welfare to Work employability sector for over 12 years.
I have successfully managed several projects aimed at helping Ethnic Minority Women, Long-term Unemployed, the unemployed, NEETS, Lone parents’ and 50+. Over the years I have supported long term unemployed individuals into sustainable work, I have successfully run projects for a Housing Association supporting residents with rent arrears to secure a job or improve their income, and for the Greater London Authority I have managed a project to support low paid London workers to improve their earnings to a London Living Wage. I have worked on a JCP pilot program aimed at supporting low paid parents into better paid jobs.
I recently directed and managed a project from beginning to end where I worked with parents struggling with their childcare issues to secure better, flexible and part-time jobs.
I am also an experienced outreach event’s organiser, having organised multiple outreach events like jobs fair and recruitment events in London.
I am approachable, flexible, caring and able to speak both French and English.
I am passionate about making a difference to vulnerable people’s lives by fundraising, giving advice and encouragement. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling and discovering new places.
