Tatianna Rodrigues

I joined Renaisi in March 2024 as a project manager on the
consultancy team. I assist organisations by delivering support across a range of social impact projects.

My Experience & Skills

I have a particular interest in social justice issues. I recently completed my PhD in Human Geography at University College London, where my ethnographic research uncovered the marginalisation of undocumented migrants in Barbados, focusing on the lived experience of the minoritised Indo Guyanese community.

Before this, I was an environment and community-based organiser for the United States Peace Corps. During my two years in Morocco, I worked alongside a local organisation to support villagers across a number of environmental, gender-specific, and health-based projects. I’ve additionally interned at Women for Afghan Women (WAW) in NY, supporting female Afghan refugees and their families to access essential services in a culturally sensitive and appropriate manner.

During my MSc. at UCL’s Developing Planning Unit, I conducted fieldwork in Ashaiman, Ghana, using participatory action research to analyse the impact of an ever-changing climate on the livelihoods of subsistence farmers dependent on urban agriculture. I also hold a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Hawai’i Pacific University.

Areas of interest:
– Environmental justice
– Migrant rights
– Gendered issues
