I’m a Principal Consultant working in the Research and Consultancy Team. I work on a wide range of research and evaluations projects, specialising in local government and health-based projects.
I co-lead the consultancy team at Renaisi, overseeing a wide portfolio of evaluation and learning partnerships, with current clients including the Greater London Authority, National Lottery Heritage Foundation, LB Camden and Barnardo’s. I have worked for 20 years as a senior policy leader delivering social, health and housing policy impact alongside new homes and economic development to support communities.
I really enjoy working with organisations to understand the impact they are having within communities.
My experience and skills
Before joining Renaisi in October 2022, I was Deputy Mayor in an Inner London borough where I led programmes to deliver new Council Homes and was Chair of Health and Wellbeing Board. During this time, I led the public health programme to encourage vaccine take up and reduce isolation during the pandemic. As a Cabinet member, I delivered a new Local Plan – ‘Managing Growth and Sharing the benefits’ – including new policy on air pollution; Estate Regeneration; health impact assessments; childcare space; transport and community infrastructure to reduce emissions. I launched outreach to residents underclaiming benefits.
Before being elected as Deputy Mayor, I worked for local authorities, HM Treasury and the Greater London Authority.
I don’t have a lot of spare time! I’m running to be a Member of Parliament and I have 2 small children! I love spending time with friends and family, running round London and watching movies.
