Julia Slay is an associate at Renasi. She is leading an action learning programme with Renasi exploring how anchor organisations can embed community wealth building strategies in Hackney.
Julia works at the intersection of social and economic policy, including on issues related to civil society, inequalities, and civic engagement. She has previously worked as Assistant Director of Communities and Social Policy at the GLA and as a senior programme manager of the social policy team at NEF (the new economics foundation). She is currently the Chair of Haringey Giving, and a freelance researcher, facilitator and coach.
